When did you start your career?

I started my career at AS Engineering in 1980.

Can you talk about the workflow and coordination of incoming projects?
For incoming projects, a "preliminary project report" is first prepared. Electrical "transformer, generator, main panel and shaft locations" are determined. After reaching a consensus with the architectural group regarding these designated places, a "preliminary project study" is carried out. Luminaires, socket groups, etc. to be used in the preliminary project. After the device locations are specified, the application project phase begins. During this flow, ideas are exchanged with the architectural group and certification authorities through meetings and interviews.

What do you think is the importance of light in our lives?
Light is a form of energy that has existed since the formation of the world. Light energy in today's technology; It makes a positive contribution to life with methods such as lighting, traffic regulation with traffic lights, and laser treatment in the field of health. In this context, the intensity of light is also very important; using too little or too much can blind a person. To understand the meaning of life without light, we only need to close our eyes.

What should be taken into consideration when designing lighting?
I believe that when designing lighting, energy efficiency should also be taken into consideration, as well as making people feel comfortable and peaceful.

Could you make a comparison between the past and present of lighting?
When we look at the person who tried to be enlightened by burning oil in his cave thousands of years ago, to today's person who is illuminated with lighting via fiber, we can see the high point that lighting technology has reached.

Should aesthetics or functionality be at the forefront in lighting?
I think lighting should be functional as well as aesthetic.

As a project company, what are your expectations from lighting companies?
Our expectation from lighting companies is to have catalogs for tracking new product ranges and databases required for lighting calculations.

How do you evaluate LED technology?
I think LED technology should be implemented more.
